Hello, my name is Sonia Geier. I have been teaching in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia for 35 years. I taught 3rd grade at St. Leo for 1 year, 1st grade at St. Timothy for 15 years, and the rest of my time was spent in 4th grade at St. Timothy and Blessed Trinity. In 2014-2015, I taught 7th grade science and social studies and 8th grade science. For the last 7 years, I have been the Science Lab teacher, doing experiments with Pre-K 3 through Grade 8 in our state-of-the-art LabLearner lab. I have worked with children in grades K thru high school in Title I and private tutoring. I have achieved my Instructional II permanent Pennsylvania certification, my permanent Religion certification, and I was a member of the Penn Distributed Leadership Team. This year I will again be teaching in the Science Lab. I love science and have taken many courses and workshops in this area. I am married and have 3 children and 2 granddaughters. I am a member of Saint Jerome parish, but my family and I were members of St. Timothy for 15 years and my two older children attended grade school there. My youngest son recently graduated from college in Connecticut. I am excited to be working with your children this year and I will work with you and your child to make it a productive and enjoyable experience. Please contact me with any questions, concerns, or suggestions. The best way to reach me is by email at [email protected] . Thank you for sending your children to Blessed Trinity Regional Catholic School.
