I am a graduate of Saint Lucy grade school and Central High School (255!). I earned my degree in Secondary Education from Millersville University. Since then, I have taught in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. I have been a teacher at St. Lucy and Holy Child in Manayunk, St. Rose of Lima in North Wales, and I have been at BTCS since February 2013. I have taught 7th and 8th grade ELA and U.S. history, with a few art, music, and gym classes, too. I have sponsored many school actives including Model U.N., Student Council, Yearbook, Talent Show, Math Club, Reading Olympics and I even coached softball.
In my spare time, I love most things that have to do with the ocean and bay like crabbing, fishing and clamming. Of course the best part is coming home and cooking the catch with my family. Additionally, I am a huge sports fan. From the first spring training game to the last out of the World Series, baseball games are like background music in my house. It doesn’t have to be the Phillies, but it helps. I also like the Eagles, the Union and college basketball.
