Create a User ID and Password and follow the prompts.

Follow the prompts to create a portal. Click “Register Now.”
Upon completion, print, sign and forward a copy of the certificate of completion.
ALL volunteers and employees receive a brochure and must sign attached form. (Required of anyone who completed the Mandated Reporter training prior to Feb 2016.)

Who: Volunteers who have lived in the state of PA, continuously, for 10 years or more.
OR…
Anyone who has an arrest or conviction, or notification that the person has been listed as a perpetrator in the statewide database.
When: Initial application and updated every five (5) years or within 72 hours of arrest, conviction or listing on the statewide perpetrator list.

Who: 1) ALL employees and anyone having any contact with children including any individual 14 years of age or older applying for or in a paid position as an employee responsible for the welfare of a child or having direct contact with children.
2) Any volunteer who does not live in the state of PA
3) Any volunteer who has lived in PA less than ten years.
When: Every five years. Volunteers renew until the time they reach 10 year residency and then must submit Disclosure Statement.

If any of the results come back as unreadable the applicant will need to go for a 2nd set of fingerprints. If the results are still unreadable a name search will be conducted and the applicant will receive a letter. Please know that this process/letter still needs to be completed/updated every 5 years for compliance.
