SCRIP

SCRIP is the easiest way to help pay your tuition! Register at the rectory for your SCRIP account and then start purchasing gift cards to a variety of retailers where you’re already spending your hard earned money.  By using SCRIP you will earn 1% to 10% of gift card purchase in tuition credit! SCRIP can be purchased through the rectory, through school, or online for convenient rectory pick up. There are several SCRIP items that are cash and carry and several that can be ordered.  See the following lists for details:

Apply for a BLOCS scholarship. The application process for the 2016/2017 school year is now open.  Scholarships from BLOCS are provided through the PA EITC/OSTC programs.  To qualify you must meet the following income requirements:

The Matthew Holmes Scholarship Fund

(for 8th Grade Students entering an Archdiocesan or Catholic Private School)

The Matthew Holmes Scholarship Fund is preparing to commence the distribution of their scholarships to students entering an Archdiocesan High School in 2016.

Five $2,000 scholarships will be awarded to select students based upon the criteria listed in the application along with essays submitted to the committee by January 15, 2016.  To apply, you must be an 8th grade student who is a Philadelphia resident, preparing to enter into your first year of a high school  at a Catholic Archdiocesan or private high school that has a Catholic affiliation.  To apply or for more information, please visit their website.

Educational Improvement Tax Credit & Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit

If you have a Pennsylvania based business or know a Pennsylvania based business owner you can re-direct your PA taxes to Blessed Trinity for scholarships!  It’s as easy as it sounds. Businesses can gain PA tax credits for contributions to approved scholarship organizations. PA taxes that are eligible for credits are:

Corporate Net Income Tax

Capital/Franchise Tax

Bank and Trust Companies Share Tax

Insurance Premium Tax

Personal Income Tax on Income from Partnerships/LLC’s &

S-Corporations

Cash gifts and Employer Matching Gifts

Blessed Trinity Catholic School accepts gifts of cash via check or credit card (MasterCard, Visa, and Discover).  Please call the Office of Advancement at 215-338-9797 to make arrangements for your gift. Please be advised that many employers will match a gift to a charitable organization. Please check with your employer to see if they offer this type of giving program.

Tell your friends and family how much you love our school!!

If you refer a new student to Blessed Trinity Catholic School and they register* you will receive a $150 discount on your tuition. If you do not have a child enrolled at Blessed Trinity Catholic School, but love our school so much that you want to refer a friend, you will receive a $50.00 gift card from our SCRIP Office.*
